Fashion Overview

We know that fashion tends to repeat and build on the past. Thus this fall-winter we see the return of all the decades. So I decided to give a brief overview and dedicate a post to each of the decades. We will start with the 40s. The 40s as far as fashion is concerned, was an austere time. Big companies have restrictions on the use of the fabric (in wartime fashion loses its importance) therefore in hard 40s opted for functional clothes, just no frills, but resistant fabric and sober colors. The silhouette of the woman becomes more masculine, and as a result we see taylor cut trousers, men jackets, and of course my favorite Oxford shoes.
